Adventure Maze
Our state of the art 3 level Adventure Maze has been custom built and is one of the largest on the North Shore of Long Island. With over 30 play elements including slides, tunnels and web climbs, our indoor playground will keep your child active and moving. Kids can head up the web elevator climb, zig zag through the side squeeze, crawl along winding tunnels (with windows to keep adventurers in full view) and have a breathtaking ride sliding down our spiral slide. The Adventure Maze is a fun-filled activity for children ages 3 through 12.
Laser Tag
Play laser tag as it has never been played before! This fully interactive game will engage your kids and challenge them as they maneuver around our specially designed military style course. Using advanced technology our equipment will deliver rapid fire hits that will keep your opponent looking for cover. Strategize to advance on your opponent's fort by using 6 foot high oil barrels, tanks and barricades as hiding places. Plan your next move as you utilize these larger than life barriers to outwit other players. Our laser tag birthday parties include 10 minutes of instruction and vesting, 3 missions of laser tag, 15 minutes in our Adventure Maze and 30 minutes in a private party room.
Rock Climbing
You can choose between traverse climbing where your child climbs across one wall to the next and our automatic belay system where your child climbs up a 20 foot wall. Your child will improve his/her balance, coordination and upper body strength while having fun. Rock climbing is available during Open Play, in classes and as an add-on to your party.
Holiday & Vacation Programs
If you're looking for something fun for your child to do during holiday and vacation look no further. We have a drop off program beginning from 9:30 am until 1:30 pm that will keep your kids busy from the moment you leave until you pick them up. Activities include sports, games and relays in our gym, fun in the Adventure Maze, inflatables, rock climbing, arts & crafts, science experiments and more. Bring a bag lunch. Snack and drinks will be provided.
Classes
In our sports classes our skilled coaches use fun drills and games to introduce beginners to sports and work on developing more advanced skills for experienced players. We have classes in baseball, soccer, basketball, soft stick hockey, lacrosse, tennis and multisport classes that cover 5-6 sports over a 14 week period. Classes regularly utilize our rock climbing wall so that children can improve strength and coordination. One-on-one private sports and conditioning training is available. Ask about our new basketball leagues.
Groups/Paygroups & Gym Rentals
We will create a program designed especially for your group, school, camp or playgroup. Your group can choose from one or more activities, including, sports, games and relays in our gym, fun in our Adventure Maze and Rock Climbing. Group rates are available. In addition, our gym is available for rentals for team practices or training sessions. The fee is $10 per person per hour (minimum of $100 per rental session).
Open Play
Admission for the Adventure Maze is $10 per child (children must be under the age of 12 and supervised by an adult). The price is $4 for the Toddler Area. Admission for Rock Climbing is $15. For a combination of Rock Climbing/Adventure Maze the cost is $20 per child. There is no charge for adults for the Maze. Admission for Laser Tag Open Play is $7.75 for the first game, $15.00 for two games and $21.00 for three games. Four or more games cost $6.50 each. Socks are required for the Adventure Maze and Toddler Area!!! Open Play hours are subject to change. In order to plan your schedule, we recommend that you call in advance for daily Open Play hours.
Birthday Parties & Extras
Each birthday party at Active Kidz is unique so that this special day is one your child will remember for years to come. Birthday extras include Rock Climbing, Inflatables, Laser Tag, Dance Dance Revolution, Karaoke, Face Painting, Arts & Crafts, Treasure Hunts, Pinatas & much much more. Add a character visit to your party. You can have a a super hero like Spiderman or Batman or one of your favorite characters like Sponge Bob, Dora, Cinderella or Belle. Enjoy our spectacular light saber show and be mesmerized as Darth Vader battles Luke Skywalker. For younger children, play with Elmo, bounce with Tigger or march with Mickey Mouse during our musical instrument parade.
